Doing More with Action Investing

In an era where global crises are increasingly intertwined, a holistic response is essential. Our interconnected world demands solutions that transcend traditional boundaries.

What is Action Investing?

Action Investing combines a response to a challenge (action) with strategic deployment of resources (investing) to address complex challenges and achieve positive outcomes. Our mission is to foster financially sustainable and maximally impactful investments that go beyond siloed solutions. This comprehensive strategy ensures that our investments create a ripple effect, tackling multiple challenges simultaneously.

Development of IRIS+ metrics for Marine Conservation

As the lead thematic partner, pfc is collaborating with the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) to develop IRIS+ standardized metrics for marine resource conservation and management. This collaborative effort brings together a diverse working group of International Organizations, asset managers, NGOs, and marine conservation experts to produce diverse metrics on environmental and social challenges. Project underway until April 2024.

Leaders from every sector are recognizing the need to reach across disciplines, sectors, and borders to enhance the effectiveness of their efforts. At pfc, we provide the place and program that facilitates this collaboration, bringing together diverse stakeholders and leaders to mobilize capital en-masse for holistic problem-solving. Our commitment to Action Investing isn't just a vision—it's the driving force behind our impactful initiatives.

In collaboration with Japan’s Social Innovation and Investment Foundation (SIIF), pfc is conducting a case study on the growth and evolution of Japan’s impact investing ecosystem to be used for executive education programs like the MMM events. This work is underway through fall of 2024 and will focus extensively on the model of Deliberate Leadership.

Supporting equity and capacity building
